Duties:

  • Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
  • Review code and design.
  • Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.
  • Integrate and validate new product designs.
  • Support software Quality Assurance and optimize system performance
  • Provide post production support.
  • Interface with hardware design and development.
  • Assess third party and open source software.
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc).
  • 3 years of programming experience in C or C++ for embedded microcontrollers.
  • Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems.
  • Deep understanding of microcontroller architectures, configuration and operation of its peripherals
  • Experience on Protocols or driver development (CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet)
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
  • Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
  • Strong documentation and writing skills
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish
Preferred:
  • Master degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Embedded Systems related fields.
  • ARM knowledge is desired.
  • MISRA, AUTOSAR experience.


Duties:
  • Work in a team of engineers validating/qualifying software for multiple infotainment products for a given customer.
  • Feature specific tests, Integration tests, Partial/Full Regression, Automated tests, Specific tests focused on deltas or changes, In vehicle testing/troubleshooting, Bench testing/troubleshooting, Defect reproduction, Verification of fixed/resolved issues.
  • Create and maintain test cases. Creating test reports of errors with supporting traces, log files and descriptions.
  • Ensures test results are documented and communicated appropriately.
  • Interfaces with the customer as needed to reproduce an issue found in a particular vehicle or system.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of embedded software testing.
  • Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi-interface environment.
  • Working knowledge of embedded software systems
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with Automotive infotainment systems.
  • Working knowledge of software development tools (debugger's, emulators, compilers, etc).
  • Experience working in a team environment using Agile software methodologies.
  • Able to use oscilloscope and logic analyzer for troubleshooting.
  • Creative problem-solver capable of reproducing and fixing complex software defects.

Duties:
  • Develop Systems activities for an automotive entertainment system or automotive safety system.
  • As part of your role you will participate in technical reviews, design reviews with other engineering areas, customer meetings and act as the main technical point of contact during project development.
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in electronics/automotive industry.
  • Strong documentation and writing skills.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish.
  • Familiar with Requirements Analysis and allocation.
  • Proficient in vehicle communication systems (CAN, GMLAN), Infotainment experience in Playbacks, J1939 & MOST protocols, previous Systems Engineer experienced.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge on: DOORs, MPIs, SWIT.
  • Problem solving skills (FTA, Fishbone, 3L5W).
  • Knowledge on: DPRTS, PCEs, PORs, CR/CN and Customer interface.
